Big Bethel AME Church is the oldest African-American congregation in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, and is the mother church of AME in North Georgia. It is located at 220 Auburn Avenue NE in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood.

From I-85 North
Drive south on I-85 to I-75/85 South.   Drive south to downtown.  Exit on Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive.  Take Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive to the second stoplight, Auburn Avenue. Big Bethel is on the right.
From Georgia 400
From GA 400, exit on I-85 South to I-75/85 South.  Drive south to downtown.  Exit on Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive.  Take Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive to the second stoplight, Auburn Avenue. Big Bethel is on the right.

From I-75 North
Drive south on I-75 through the Brookwood Interchange to downtown Atlanta.   Exit on Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive.  Take Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive to the second stoplight, Auburn Avenue.  Big Bethel is on the right.
From I-75 South
Take I-75 North to I-75/85 to downtown.  Exit on Edgewood Ave.  (MLK Historic District).  Drive to the second stoplight.  Turn left on Auburn Avenue.  Drive to the second stoplight. Big Bethel is on your right.

From I-20 East
Drive west on I-20 to I-75/85 North exit.  Drive north to downtown.  Exit on Edgewood Avenue.  (MLK Historic District).  Drive to the second stoplight.  Turn left on Auburn Avenue.  Drive to the second stoplight. Big Bethel is on your right.
From I-20 West
